Leo’s Fortune is a platform adventure game where you hunt down the cunning and mysterious thief that stole your gold. Put all of those together, and this game is a gem, and deserves to keep having the love, all the love, and may all of you out there continue to discover the gold of Leo's heart.App Store Best of 20 WWDC Apple Design Award winner! The story was satisfying like a good tale, with excellent writing and narration (Leo is a character that stays with you). The gameplay is so smart and well-deserved that nearly every stage had me going "Wow!" at some new mechanic, some new contraption. The visuals are sumptuous (full and detailed and a pleasure to look at), and sometimes I just play to look at them in all their glory. Except for one portion of one stage where puffing Leo up like a balloon actually made him drop like an anchor, the controls are responsive and clever and invisible and perfectly at home on the touch screen. I believe this is probably the best mobile platformer game ever made (so far). I wish I could dial my enthusiasm for this game back a little, but I won't. The fact that you have to restart the level wouldn’t really be that big of a deal with other games but these levels take like 10 minutes to get halfway through with, and it just makes me just want to bash my head with my phone.īut you know what im going to try and keep playingīest Handheld Platformer Ever? star star star star starĮrherringbone's Review of Leos Fortune Reviewed on 12/13/18 1:06 PM otherwise when you go to quit the app it wipes that data and the next time you have to play from the start of the level. I also think they should save where you left off in the level. A lot of the time you’re stuck at a certain part and you literally have no clue what you’re supposed to do, which in part has to do with the new features they add each level. I’m probably going to search up how to get past the level, but i suggest adding a hint box or some sort of instruction if someone is struggling. ![]() ![]() i love the graphics and storytelling of the game but what's the point of spending five dollars on it if you can’t even play. literally level 2!! Now, I’ve re-downloaded it because, hey, i already bought it, and im now stuck at level 5 with no clue how to get past. I bought this app a few years ago on a whim but i couldn't get past level 2.
